Surviving Brandcenter -- CTs (by Jeremy D. Williams)

There is power in being nice; appreciate the beauty of everything and everyone. You must know your role, play it well and always follow your instinct. Believe what is true in your head is relevant, valid, and can be spread to everyone; because it can.

Never be afraid to challenge your fellow students or professors; just do so respectfully. Do not let this school consume you. Manage your time wisely, procrastination is the enemy. Take at least one day a week to make stuff that matters to you. In the words of Fenske, "You can create greatness without it being assigned." Make friends outside of the Brandcenter but do not isolate yourself from the awesome network of people at the school. Remember why you are here. Stay focused on your own journey, never worry what the next man or woman has on their path.

As a CT you should be a 'dj' of innovation; curating insight, visualizing data and designing solutions that connect with people. Learn how to use Twitter and other social media channels to your own advantage. Blog everyday to keep track of the seeds you plant and watch yourself grow over these 60 weeks. Obey your purpose, thrive in the collective and exercise your freedom. Good luck!
